These natural almonds are premium California grown truly natural, steam treated almonds direct from the farm. (note that due to fda regulations almonds sold as whole “raw” even from health food stores and co-op suppliers like Country Life, are routinely "chemically pasteurized" with PPO (propylene oxide) a chemical also used in some motor fuels. If it's not direct from the farm and only steam treated, it likely has PPO which is a known allergen for some people.
